It looks like they come up in reverse chronological order. What's the problem?

It's not reverse, I checked that. It seems to spread them around all over the place.

I'm just used to having it come up in order on all the sites I use so it throws me. No problem, just thought you weren't aware of it so offered it as a suggestion.

Can you provide an example? I just did a "find all posts" from the link in your profile and they came up in order. What are you trying to do?

I haven't modified any code the effects this so it works the same here as it does on any phpBB based board. I need to be able to duplicate the problem before I can fix it.

Okay, I see.

I have no idea why it's doing that. Let me investigate further...

Edited to add:

It doesn't seem to effect everyone because if I do the same search on FZR1KG, it's fine.

It's showing announcements first, then stickies, then posts in regular threads.

Update:

I had installed a mod here very early on that moved locked topics to the end of the forum. At the time, it seemed like a good idea but I recently decided I no longer liked that functionality and removed it. Lo and behold, searches now come back just in reverse chronological order with no regard for announcement or sticky status.
