Resolved: Search function

Hey, I'm trying to find the Does 0.999... = 1 thread. The Quick Search doesn't seem to find any key words like 1, 0.999..., or equal. What am I doing wrong?

The actual thread title is Does .99999... = 1?

Searching .99999 works but .999 doesn't. I think it may just be nature of the beast.

*sigh*

It means "internal". My DNS server points that host name back to a private IP address on the same host that the web site resides on. It saves me from having to go "out" through my cable-modem and back "in" through my DSL line. It also means all my hosts are on the same LAN, which is much easier access that if I did it via the WAN.

I need to pay more attention to that.

Sorry.

When I deleted the i, the above new window popped up. I did a print screen and saved.

Okay, I get it.

Links open in new windows, yes. When you deleted the "-i" you fixed the link so it workd. When you clicked it, it opened a new window. That is as it should be.

You are not pestering me. I just didn't understand what you were saying.
