How cool would this be?

Let me know if something is not working, or you think something could be made better.

How cool would this be?

Imagine this:

Across from every post is a box that you can click to check it beside the quote button, then at the bottom of the page there is a "Quote Checked Posts" button, then when the page redirects you to the reply box all of the quotes you checked are already there.

Lance, do you think you could ask for a mod for something like this? I know I am just being lazy but I thought it would make things a lot easier...

That would be cool. Let me check into it.

I just think it's a pain in the ass to scroll up and down the page copying/pasting information all the time.

Thanks for the consideration.

I usually multi quote by either clicking the quote button to open in a new window or using the back button, copy-pasting the various parts of my post together.

This idea would indeed make things easier. :D

For the record, Invision has a feature where next to each quote button is a multiquote that you can click on and off, however like almost everything else in Invision it's buggy and I never use it. :P It's possible that a mod for phpBB might exist that emulates this feature (except that it would work correctly).

No such mod exists that I know of, or could find, but I posted a request. If I ever finish the "Quote in New Thread" mod I started writing a few months ago, perhaps I'll try and tackle it myself.

Ok, great. I suppose for now this is resolved if you would like to lock it, or you can leave it open for discussion, it's up too you.
