Who's online?

This is a "does the light in the refrigerator really go out when you close the door" question.

I do not (usually) log out from IRU before shutting down my computer, disconnecting from the internet or closing Explorer.

Does this mean that I am still listed as being online in the "Who's Online" box, (to the left of the main screen) or does the software "know" I am no longer logged on to IRU?

I think it takes a little while (haven't timed it, but it seems to me it is on the order of five or ten minutes), but eventually if the server hasn't heard from you, you're logged out...

SOmetimes i check in here, and then leave it in a background window, or move on to other windows with none on it, but I am still online and active. Does it think I am here for hours at a time?

Suppose I could sign up as someone else and watch for myself. Maybe I could put that camera inside my refrigerator online and we could all see that the light goes out.
