I tried that and a few others when I saw your post about not having LaTeX here a few days ago. That one and several of the others all rely on rendering done by an external resource located at http://tex.72pines.org/ which no longer exists. That causes them to break and not display anything.

If you can find something that is current I'd be happy to try and get it going. Something self contained would probably be best but I'll give anything a go.

I'll keep looking around as well.

They seem to have it at some other boards I've seen, but they're vbulletin, so it might work differently.

As an alternative, is there a way to include PDFs in a post?

Um... other than a marital aid, just what might Latex be?

Likely. I wonder if there is something php based that I could install locally. I didn't find anything but it certainly could be out there.

Can you convert your pdf to gif/jpg/png?

Or could you use this website: http://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php

To generate stuff like this: Image

Hint: Insert the URL Encoded value inside an [img] tag.

Looks like it works!

I don't recognise some of the file formats. I used PNG, which is bit-mapped - it probably won't look good if scaled a lot. PDF should avoid that problem, but doesn't seem to work within an IMG tag.
