Yeah, it's been pretty boring.

I'm still having horrible access problems. Is everyone else?

Not that I'm seeing. As far as I can tell, everything has been fine.

And since I no longer use my personal server to host, my access is pretty much the same as anyone else's.

I am getting extreme slowness, lots of failures to load pages, etc.

Maybe I should clear out the cache.

I'm fine. I have my Firefox on rather austere settings - it deletes ALL Website settings, passwords, history, cache, cookies, LSOs, etc., on every shutdown. Makes for crisp surfing, never forgetting my logins (as I have to remrember them every time I visit a page), and giving me my "five monthly Slate stories" every time I go there.

I'm sorry but I really don't know. Can you isolate the problem to one PC or is it happening on multiple devices?

I have five computers (including one still in the box) and three mobile devices at my disposal. Two different browsers on an Apple laptop (Safari and Firefox) exhibit the problem, and also an iPad - all of these are being used from home, though the same wifi connection. But earlier today (well, really yesterday), I had the same issue with the same laptop (and the Safari browser) from a public coffee shop.

And this has been ongoing since the host had the DDoS attack I posted about a week or so ago?

No problems, here, boss.

Smooth sailing here using plain old Internet explorer, and through a different ISP at my shop using chrome.

Rubbish from a third location. Different computer, Firefox, Windows something or other.

No problems here, either from my work computer or from my iPad/home wifi.

The last day or so, it seems much better. I no longer feel like I need to copy my posts to the clipboard before hitting "submit", for fear that I'll lose them.

That's good to hear. I wish there were something I could do...
