Our host decided to change direction and only host WordPress sites. I have until the end of December to find a new server.
But in the mean time, their migration efforts took us down and there was nothing I could do to get us back before now.

This may be moot now, but in case you don't know, before the 'account suspended' notice came up, an 'error 500' notice appeared. It said to notify the webmaster at some particular cylan email address.
I tried that and the email just bounced back.

So that's what happened! I thought the problem was with my computer - it's been funny with certain websites for a while. (E.g. some no longer work on Google Chrome.) But as others have said, it's good to be back!

The migration appears to have been successful!
If you are reading this then you are on the new servers!
It does take time for DNS to propagate so if you saw a message that the board was temporarily disabled it's because you were still being pointed to the old location. This should resolve on its own within 24-48 hours.

Yes, I noticed that one post got lost. You must have made it JUST before I disabled the board, which I did within minutes of the move.
