American Idol (Season 5)

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

American Idol (Season 5)

Does anyone here watch American Idol?

Who is your favorite? Mine are Chris Daughtry and Katharine McPhee. I definitely have the McPheever!

Who should go next? Of everyone left, I think I would miss Elliot Yamin the least.

I will be happy if either Chris, Katherine or Taylor wins, and at this point I have a 75% chance of that happening.

Can you believe it?

Chris is gone. I was sure he'd make the final 2.

A fan of Katharine McPhee. Someone who has the McPheever. Someone who is a member of the "Kat Pack".

Well, it looks like they've found a cure to the McFever. It's called Taylor Hicks, and is being administered by your local Soul Patrol.

Reality TV World wrote:'American Idol 5' runner-up Katharine McPhee signs record deal

UPI News Service, 06/06/2006

"American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee Tuesday signed a record deal with producer Clive Davis and 19 Recordings Unlimited.

Davis is known as a musical star maker, having launched the careers of Alicia Keys and Whitney Houston, among many others, People magazine noted. The label, 19 Recordings, is owned by Simon Fuller, who brought "American Idol" to Fox TV from Britain.

McPhee's first two singles will be "Over the Rainbow" and "My Destiny," available online and in stores June 27.

McPhee, 21, lives in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

A similar deal was announced last week for "American Idol" champion Taylor Hicks.
