House M.D.

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

One of the in-jokes here is that Stephen Fry was on the quiz for real while an undergradute.

(and slept with Emma Thompson).

Not the shortest list of people in the world, or so I'm told, but then she is a luvvie. Though we do forgive Emma T anything since her dad was responsible for the Magic Roundabout.

And his father was an Olympic Gold medallist.

And he was a junior national rowing champion and rowed in the Boatrace.

Damn his eyes.

Would it surprise anyone to learn that while born in England he is of solidly Scottish stock?

Well, both maternal grandparents, Scottish. Paternal grandmother Irish and grandfather, English. Kind of a mixed bag.

The new series of House started here last night. I must have missed the end of the last series since I have no idea what happened to the sidekicks. Anyone know?

They're Real Doctors now. He has a new set of residents or whatever the heck they were. The others are still on the show, though, at least the woman is--just not as often.

I thought they were qualifeid. I seem to be catching up with series 3, Foreman has just resigned since he didn't want to end up like House.

I didn't start watching at the beginning, so I've missed a lot of eps. I'm thinking about seeing if I can get the first season or two on NetFlix to watch them.

There are several channels here showing various seasons so we are catching up with 3 while recording 4.

A song that lead to a protracted case and recently concluded appeal on ownership of the copyright. Drinks all round for the lawyers!

I first heard the song at a party when I was 16, I still like it a lot.

I think they've actually used it a couple of times. Love that song.
