Gorebal Warming

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

Gorebal Warming

Anybody planning on going to see Al Gore's "An Inconvieniant Truth"?

Should be more exciting than X-3 and Star Wars combined.

I will avoid anything Gore stars in - unless it is Futurama.

In bipartisan fairness, I also vow to avoid anything that Bush decides to star in after his political career - unless it is a continuation of Futurama.

apparantly it has a lot of bargraphs in it.

I think that it would have been better to make a good film and then hand out a fact pack at the end of the show.

Al Gore's voice droning on and on gives me ear fatigue.
In my hands I hold a candle whose flame is small to see, And if I give but one light to you my life is filled for me.
But...In your hands you hold a torch for many eyes to see, So hold it high that they may light their candlewicks from thee.

I read that in a speech about his movie, Gore said that global warming skeptics are like the people who believe in the moon hoax. Isn't that a little bit of an "Ad Hominum" attack? If you don't agree with me, then you must be like some wacko woo woo.

I wonder if he'll run for president again? I'd vote for him way before Mrs. Clinton. Of course I would vote for any Republican before I voted for either of them.

I hope so. I think he deserves it after getting robbed the way he did last time. And I think he'd win big, now that people see how big a mistake they made in 2000 and 2004.

The Chad fiasco. That was the best thing about the whole election. It illustrated what a crying little bitch Gore really is.

Considering the way Gore has behaved since 2000, people may realize what a bullet we dodged in 2000.

I don't think the comparison with hoax believers is very intelligent, that's apples and pears.

Even a Republican who wanted to invade Canada?

(Sorry, just the old friendly reminder that voting purely along party lines is stupid...)

Oh, yeah, I'd vote for him too. It's about time we teach those Canadians a thing or two. Sneaking across our borders and stealing our jobs. Yeah, Canadians are evil.

Yeah!!! How aboot that, GJ? :)

I was born a Republican and I'll die a Republican. My greatgrandfather was Governor of Idaho, Lt. Governor, and appointed Land Commisioner by the Hoover administration. Its in my blood and even if it wasn't, I would still vote for any Republican over a Democrap.

I think I'd vote for Gore and or Hilary Clinton before I'd vote for Linbaugh.

Also, there are probably other Dems. that I'd definitely consider (like Daschle, but he wouldn't run - and I'm not sure he'd make the Democratic nomination even if he did).

As far as invading/attacking/nuking Canada, I stand by my earlier statement: it would be like invading/attacking/nuking our 51st state (with the possible exception of Quebec -- they might truly be evil, but I'm not sure, yet).

One last thing, I'm pretty sure no matter who had lost the 2000 election, they would be now considered to be cry-babies. Certainly, Bush wouldn't have let it go without some ruckus.

As far as the movie is concerned, though, I don't have any plans to go see it.
