Brave

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

What's the problem then?

I have no idea when it is set but the characters are wearing clothes from a variety of centuries from the 2nd to 12th.

Well, all the little action figures, and school lunch boxes, and other stuff is flooding the stores.

Britain has only been an island for about 200,000 years, so I would imagine horses are entirely native - their ancestors having walked here.

Ah, so they must have avoided the fate that the original American horses suffered (as recently as 10,000 years ago, in fact).

My wife saw it this past weekend and has suggested I see it as well. It's quite dark (according to her and other reviewers). I'll try to get to it and let you know what I think. Anyone else see it?
Is there such a thing?

Did they become extinct? I didn't know that. Didn't horses originate in North America? 10,000 years ago sounds suspiciously like humans could be getting the blame.

It's not out here until the middle of August, but I'll probably go and see it then.

Horses were all over, but went extinct in North America. Europeans re-introduced them when they visited.

Ah, I did know that Europeans introduced them - so I must also have known that they must have become extinct at some point, if I'd ever thought about it. D'oh!

Yep, the horse culture of MM's neighbours was entirely a modern-era innovation.

This one may or may not help for the GB case.

Believe Lianachan is on a larger island now.

But I think we have two reasonably active IRU people living in the same house.
