Watched the first episode, I'm not an expert but I think the history is bollocks. It is a series for anyone with an interest in naked Asian ladies though.

Never heard of it, but as somebody with an interest in history I'd be tempted to give it a go. Where might I find it? I guess I'll just have to suffer the naked Asian ladies for the sake of history.

Netflix made it and are showing it here, and I suppose elsewhere. Kazakhstan is used for China/Mongolia, Venice (with a bit of CGI) is Venice and pretty much every actor who speaks English and looks a bit slanty is in it. I will suffer through another episode tonight.

I assume a "sexual manor" is Kublai Khan's pleasure palace rather than a typo, but maybe not.

We lost track of this but have restarted watching it. Next episode up: "Marco and Hundred Eyes take on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the walled city of Xiangyang". Polo is the only white man in Asia and Hundred eyes is blind. This should be entertaining . . .

The two seem like a perfect choice as the spies who blend in seamlessly with the locals.

Given that the cast is anyone who looks a bit Asian and speaks English, including Chinese, Koreans and a Pacific Islander, and where family members rarely have any resemblance at all it might go ok.

Anytime the plot starts to sag, or something needs to be explained the directors simply cuts to two naked ladies vigorously lesbianing.
