It's not a normal musical. It's one that made it big when the genre was dying.

I would second Мастер's opinion - you should definitely see it. It comes round from time to time and I see is available on Amazon Prime and probably also Netflix.

I understand there are some non-musical versions of 'Fiddler' or the stories it is based on that I might check out.
