Has anybody seen Turn: Washington's Spies? It's an historical drama set among the Culper Ring of the American War of Independence.

Recommended to the house. It's plays fast and loose in terms of historical accuracy, but the setting, weapons, sets, etc, seem authentic enough. Occasional boobs, plenty violence, and anything where the Redcoats are the bad guys is immediately off to a good start for me.

I'm rather feeling that way about the other side these days . . .

It's all relative, I suppose, and often I'm cheering against that other side. I cannot conceive of any circumstances which would result in my cheering on Redcoats.

What if they're charging on foot with bayonets towards a line of tanks?

I'd be cheering the tanks.

Speaking as a Lowlander: my local regiment were there as were a number of other Scottish regiments so I have some support for part of the army. Fuck the rest of them, and their king, though.

What I mean is, you could cheer for the redcoats to continue their forward charge, rather than, let's say, turning around and running away.

From the Parents' Guide:

"There is a scene in which a British officer and another woman have sex. The woman's bare shoulders and back are seen down to the lower back as they lie in bed. There is thrusting and the bed knocks against the wall as the seen opens."

I wasn't aware there were female officers in the C18th but I'm all for watching some hot wench on wench action.

As long as the seen opens, I guess it would be a nice scene.
