We've now started binge-watching Weeds, which ran from 2005-2012. It's a half-hour format dark comedy. There are some plot elements in common with Breaking Bad, which are amusing. Weeds preceded BB though, and there is no connection between the two.
It's pretty funny, and dark, but much less so than BB. And Mary-Louise Parker, OMG! She always looks like someone just turned on her wireless-remote vibrating panties just 30 seconds ago.

This tattoo is supposed to be in Russian. Anyone have any idea what it says? Mactep?
I've seen speculation that it translates to something like "Brides to the end".

Ugh, I couldn't even make out half the letters. However, given your proposed translation and the picture, I have reverse engineered the quote:
Невесты будет до конца (roughly, Nevestiy budet da kohntsa)
Unless there is some subtlety I'm missing (entirely possible, given the weakness of my Russian), this should be
Невесты будут до конца (second word more like budut)
That's right, it has a grammatical error (again, unless I'm making a mistake). The verb form should be third-person plural (or maybe first-person plural, depending on what it's supposed to say), but it's third-person singular. (One meaning of будет is the future tense of the verb to be, but it is the "he/she/it" form, whereas будут is the "they" form.)

It's a prison tat, and the Russian girl wasn't the brightest candle on the cake so I wouldn't be surprised by an error. Or the show writers just didn't give a rat's ass.

I'm not sure that the word будут should be included at all - contrast English when it is included (they will be brides until the end), to when it is not included (they are brides until the end).
If it is supposed to be "we are", then the form should be будем. The word "we" (Мы) is omitted, but I think that's OK. But just leaving the verb out entirely rings a little better to my ear, although my ear probably isn't the greatest on these things.

No. The YouTube videos over in the other thread are pretty much the only things I watch. There isn't a lot between the hosp and the kids.
