Portlandia

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

Portlandia

Um... has anyone been able to watch more than a couple minutes of this? it is featuring an ex SNL guy and it watches like an SNL bit - overly long and not very funny. it is a series of bits with the same actors being different characters. But inevitably, you sit through a lot of buiold up to a mildly amusing moment or two. At best. I don't get it. And apparently it has been on several seasons already.

never heard of it
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.

I see ads for it now and then and they always make me curious, but never quite enough to actually watch.

The wife and I see the ads for it, and think, "and they expect this to attract us?"

I've been curious about it, but not enough I guess...

From what I can tell, it's for and about hipsters. So no interest from me.

Oh, so in order to prove how 'cool' you are, you have to watch it? Explains the lack of interest in this household.
