The Monuments Men

Watched it last night, wasn't impressed. The actors were too old for the parts, the story was slow and padded out with unrealistic vignettes and Clooney confused the actors having fun on set with making a fun film. And why run from the Soviets at the end? They were allies and there are plenty of instances of fraternisation between the armies. But the actors are all multi-millionaires in Hollywood and I'm in Dunfermline, so what do I know.

I'm with you guys. In the fog of my memory, it kind of gets blended in with 'Mystery Men'. And not just because of the title.
Disappointing.

It is apparently based on a very good book, but it simply can't be filmed well. And I'm not convinced by George Clooney as a director.
