I'm watching each new episode as it comes out, which is every Tuesday.

I have a few to catch up on. I generally watch them as they come out and can't wait for each new one, but not this season. Way too busy.
Is it good this year?

Yes, you can definitely see the transformation from Jimmy to Saul.

The commercials I've seen suggest Gus Fring plays a major part of this season again. Is that accurate? Fring was always one of my favorite characters from BrBa.

Yes, the construction of the drug lab under the laundry is a major topic in series 4.

I've seen the season since we last talked about it. It looks like we saw why Kim wasn't in Breaking Bad. He disappointed me there.

The new episode (S06E08) was SO GOOD!
And now we know why Lalo wasn't in BB, but also why Saul originally thought mask-clad Walter and Jesse might have been sent by him.

The whole concept of the "superlab" bothers me.
This is a criminal undertaking. It is expensive. It took months (years?) to set up. It becomes useless the instant it is discovered.
I think what one would really want is, a distributed network of relatively cheap labs, which are easy to replace if discovered.
