No country for old men

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

No country for old men

Protagonist comes across USD2 million in criminals' money and keeps it. Takes it home to his trailer in a desert trailer park. Is pursued by a killer and gangs, there is a nattily dressed cowboy put on the case by businessmen in an office in Dallas, cars are burnt out in the desert, cops stop cars on lonely highways, scummy motels, wife killed, shootout, and so on.

Oh wait, that's Charley Varrick a 1973 Walter Matthau film.
Get it up ye.

I thought Bardem was just great in that. Complete psychopath.
Normally I'm big on soundtrack music, what stood out in this film was lack of any. Quite striking and really worked here.
Jones must have liked working with Kelly Macdonald as they were both again in In the Electric Mist (along with the late Levon Helm).
