Finally upgraded to the new macOS after weeks of nagging from the "updates available" indicators.

First impression - the first thing I did, before anything else, was change the background screen. I can not use a computer that looks like that

And this grotesque crime against the laws of nature and of men remains as the power-up/login screen. It seems I have only changed the background screen after I have logged in.

Need to figure out how to purge this image from the computer in all stages of its operation . . .
