Nah, tell them the Martians left 2 ancient artifacts - a portrait of themselves and one of their neighbors on Earth (Cydonia). 
Maybe make a passing comment about someday finding a portrait of the former inhabitants of whatever they're calling the planet that the asteroid belt supposedly came from. :D
