40 Years Since Apollo 11 Landing

Postby Мастер » Mon Jul 20, 2009 5:28 am

Greetings from Frankfurt-am-Main. The morning papers are out here, and the Süddeutsche Zeitung today has an English-language insert which are apparently articles reprinted from the New York Times, presumably the edition that will be delivered in a few hours in the US. One of them is about the conspiracy theories, and (briefly) mentions Plait and Whindley.

I watched the moon landing in a holiday cottage in Durisdeer in Dumfries and Galloway. Some years later Neil Armstrong visited the village as it is claimed that is where his scottish ancesters lived.

ETA: The BBC article refers to them as "Mr Armstrong, Mr Aldrin and Mr Collins". How odd. I thought it would be Mr, Colonel and General respectively.

Most of us can't read that.
Hatred is a cancer upon the world.
It rots the mind and blackens the heart.

Um, it's been a while :( I can tell you the first two characters on that line (on the right) say "40".

I have the following (indirectly) from lionking at apollohoax.net:

Third of the Americans Don't Perceive reaching the Moon as The Most Important Scientific Achievement for their Country!

40 Years Didn't Witness "the Biggest Jump of Mankind"

Before 40 years, a man walked on the moon and liberated the feet of humans, for the first time, from the shackles that tie them to Earth since the beginning of humanity. The American Astronomer Neil Armstrong's walk on the fine soil of the moon was accompanied by the "rush" of millions of youths in their revolution that shocked the world, dancing on the tunes of the Beatles music and the Rock King Presley and their sexual arousal in WoodStock in America [directly after the contraceptive pill's revolution], and changing their bodies and clothes according to the Hippie's culture and other cultures. That was a fruitful time on land and in space, .... (continued on page 6)

I'll see if I can find page 6
