Been meaning to ask. Is that a real sky photo taken in Singapore around March 2?

I could try to identify using my Starry Night software, but easier to ask.

I'm 99% certain that's a black sheet of black construction paper with lots of holes poked in it in front of a light, haha. Looks very odd.

Well. I have made an ass of myself. I was not sure (too ignorant to know; too lazy to Google) if Singapore was north or south of the equator. (200 km north)

I am pretty familiar with the northern sky; not as much with the southern. That just did not look right.

Still, I guess I can comfort myself, there are no stupid questions ...

Unless you happen to be asking them. ;-)
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.
