Will it ever happen?

Will it ever happen?

The thought just occurred to me, and I find it extremely funny.

There are "launch windows" for Mars, when it is possible to send a rocket there at a lower cost (in terms of energy, and therefore in terms of money) than at any other time. So the various space agencies try to launch all their Mars rockets at that time.

I wonder if, in the resulting traffic jam of rockets on their way to Mars, any of them will ever collide.

I think they would have to come from the same longitude for that to be a risk. Missions like that don't do an orbit/insertion trajectory. They are pretty much pointed at the target. Though there is more to it, of course, a launch from the US and China wouldn't happen at the same time.
