Mars eclipse

I just saw this, our little Mars rover caught Phobos eclipsing the sun from the surface of Mars.

Totally cool. If there were buildings on Phobos, you could probably see them against the Sun's light. Maybe in a hundred years or so.
I've read Mars can even have double eclipses, with notable dimming of daylight, when Phobos and Deimos cross the Sun simultaneously. Oh how Fred Espenak would love to calculate those.

I wonder how human history would be different if we had a couple small minor moons like that added to our local skies.

One thing is certain - they would be used for astrology and superstition, because if you kiss while [insert smartl mythological name here] is crossing the Sun, you're marriage will be dark and short, whereas if you kiss under a full [insert smart mythological name here], then [insert smart mythological name here] will smile on you, etc.

Likewise for great battles, ocean crossings, city sieges, etc., which is where history comes into play.

Wow! - Blink and you miss it
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.
