Moving

Postby KLA2 » Thu Aug 11, 2011 8:39 pm

Hi, folks. In the process of moving my home/office.

Just got an internet connection established today.

Oh, yeah. Finally got moved out two hours before the new owners moving in, by filling a 20 foot container with the excess, now in storage.

Now in the process of unpacking / renovating. (another story of woe and aggravation.)

While trying to get enough client work done to survive financially.

Will return ... eventually.

In the meanwhile, a piece of advice ... if you have the choice between moving, or removing your own teeth with a pair of rusty pliers ... choose the pliers. Less painfull in the long run.

So there's a tale behind this source of aggravation KLA2?
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.

A story? A book. Thank you for asking. Still in the process of renovating/unpacking, delayed five weeks by a lack of (mandatory) city inspectors .

Too much to tell; another time.

Moving is a process, not an event, unless it is a move from a small apartment to a larger space. Even then.

Renovations, unpacking, arranging, setting up, arranging connections ...

AAAARRRGGGHHH

It will be some time before I can post regularly again.

{Alright, who cheered? I heard that.}

A German proverb says, moved thrice equals burnt down once.

You know, I was thinking the other day it would have been better to burn the old place down, collect the insurance, and start over ... philosophically speaking, of course.
