In the Pissy Wee Team Europa League Rangers drew Benfica, Lech Poznan and Standard Liege. It could have been a lot worse.

Good work on the polo shirt! All of my lucky shirts seem to now be faulty.

A generous gesture, but the only scenario that might - just might - lead to anything other than an emphatic home win would be if a sudden coronavirus cluster forced you to put out your under-11 girls team. Looking back at stats today, it doesn’t look like RCC have ever won the encounter, and draws are rare.

I might have to go and get th lucky shirt. My light blue/dark blue striped polo shirt seems to be sending mixed messages.

I’ve just seen who Hertha are playing later . . .

Nothing like as comfortable as the scoreline might suggest.

Rangers 2 - 0 RCC

Played 31, won 16, drawn 8, lost 7.

A draw is probably the best result for the IRU derby, for our tally. A win and a loss kind of cancel each other out. From what I’m hearing, we’re lucky it was only 2. And that’s 3 penalties we’ve given away in the last 2 matches, which is a bit concerning.

If ifs and buts were pizzas and blowjobs, we’d all have a lot more beer before St Swithin’s day, or something.

And yes, fuck Bayern (though from the sequence and timing of the goals that looks like a great match to have seen).

Yeah, we made three, but that Lewandowski guy made four. Equalizer and the deathly penalty both in injury time, oh my. At least they didn't butcher us.

Elsewhere, SV Würzburg 2 - 2 SpVgg Greuther Fürth, so Played 33 won 16, drawn 9, lost 8.

Winning 3 - 0 with 30 mins to go against opposition from two leagues further down than us, so of course it finished:

Montrose 3 - 3 Ross County

Played 34, won 16, drawn 10, lost 8.

Doesn’t count for our tally, but Scotland took part in their first ever penalty shoot-out tonight (and won it), after what I understand was a turgid 0-0 draw with Israel.

Was that Nations League? Because then it would count, I'm afraid.. . As a draw.

Ah, but....
Heid the Ba wrote:It’s an international weekend and I can’t say I have any interest in it. Half our eligible players have no interest in playing so I don’t see why I should be interested even though they could do ok. If Lianachan has no objections I think we should ignore Scotland’s results. Die Mannschaft are of course still counted.

Was a Euro 2020 qualifying play-offs semi-final. It'll be Serbia that beats Scotland momentarily, to ensure the 100% record of not qualifying for things for over 20 years. Although, they are one of what's probably very few countries to have a 100% success rate at penalty shootouts.

I can see your point re. Nations Leauge, but qualifiers? Shouldn't they count?

Sugestion: If Scotland qualify, we'll count the Israel in as win retrospectively. If not, you can stick with "Scotland playing so shite, any competition is just friendlies for us". Deal?

Well, for me it’s nothing to do with them being shite (Ross County supporter, after all), it’s a political thing. But my understanding of what Heid said is that Scotland games of any and all kinds do not count as neither of us are remotely interested in the team.

Ross County 0 - 0 Salt ‘n’ Sauce on your Heroin Supper

Played 37, won 18, drawn 11, lost 8.

Good result for Heid’s lot there, in the bigotry derby.
