For someone who would love to promote the whole ETI thing to sell more movie tickets, Stephen Spielberg (my spell check is down, my apologies) take on ETI and UFO's is not what one might expect.
I think I heard about this from James Randi's website, but I am not sure. I just remembered it and thought I would type it here because I think it is on topic and people might find it interesting.
He says that there seems to be less and less UFO sightings as times goes on. And this is odd since there are more and more cameras in people's hands. So you might thing there should be more.
I might add this. More and more of the old UFO sightings have been debunked as technology increases as well. And some have been found to be secret B-2 bombers and other aircraft.
The comments made by Stephen were made during a promotion for his War of The World's movie and it was right after Tom Cruse was going on and on about how there had to be aliens out there and that they had to have visited us and how arrogant and stupid it is to think otherwise.
Arrogant and stupid.
Those two sitting side by side was a perfect analogy of the whole debate seemed to be to be like graphic living illustrations of the sane and the dreaming views.
Sorry again for the misspellings.
