Jerry Lee Lewis, cousin of Jimmy Swaggart and also cousin of his wife (who was 13 when she married him), dead at 87.

This is one of those where I would have just assumed the person was already dead.

Mrs Lianachan and I said this. We also discussed the 13yr old wife. Goodness gracious.

Me too. I think when the 1989 Quaid movie came out I had already assumed it was post-mortem.

Apparently most recent wife was ex of cousin-wife's younger brother.

another thought he was dead already.

funny how things change some time - had this all happened w/in the last 15 years, he'd have gone to prison. well, maybe. One of my ex bro's in law (half bro to my ex husband) I called him "Wally the deer slayer and his child bride" 'cause he did a few months (yes, only a few months) in the county jail when he shot at a deer one year during hunting season, only it turned out to be a woman chopping down a Christmas tree (yes, she died). and one year, when he was in his mid twenties, he appeared at his family reunion and was embarrassed to introduce his g/f. why? 'cause she was 16 and was holding their two year old child. (Her parents thought he was a 'good catch' 'cause he was employed). bizarre family, that.
