Although then again. Suella Braverman, former Home Secretary, former Tory leadership candidate and, some say, a contender in the next contest, figurehead of the far right came to Cambridge last week. She had heard that Cambridge was one of the universities where students had set up an encampment to protest against the ongoing Israeli conduct of the war in Gaza and so went, with a crew from GB News (described by one commentator as "the Fox News of Britain"), to inspect it. She asked the protestors for their views, if they had a message for Israel or for Hamas. The reporter with her explained that this was their opportunity to get their point across. So they took it. By saying nothing - every question she asked them was met with silence. Essentially, their point was, "We have nothing to say to you."
