Rest in Peace: Jeff Smith

Postby Lance » Mon Mar 19, 2007 4:08 pm

I was just sitting here listening to Handel's Water Music Suite this morning and as the Bourrée portion started playing I remembered the old T.V. cooking show The Frugal Gormet which Jeff Smith hosted before his "fall from grace". So I decided to see what, if anything he was up to now and discovered he has died back in 2004.

Sad... I really like the guy, and his show. I had 3 or 4 of his books.

I have one of his classic blue pinstripe aprons - like he wears in the photo - hanging in my kitchen. It is a good one, like Jeff.
