First PhD in the astronaut program, known as "Dr. Rendezvous". Spacewalk developer on Gemini 12, second Man on the Moon, exploration publicizer, Mars advocate and general V.I.P. by virtue of achievement.

May he live long enough to see the second wave of Moon exploration begin.

May he outlive the idiots that say he didn't.

Depending on how we might define his contemporaries, I think he has outlived nearly all of those who claim he didn't go.

James Collier (Was it Only a Paper Moon?) died in 1998. I can't find a DOB for him, though.
Bill Kaysing died in 2005 at the age of 82.
Ralph Rene was 75 when he died in 2008.
And Jack D. White died in 2012 at the age of 85.

Any others from that era still kicking it?

I can't find an age or birthdate for David Percy, but Mary Bennett was born in 1944. Bart Sibrel is younger still. James Fetzer was born in 1940.

Let us not forget Ali G.

What do you say to all those conspiracy theorists who come up to you and say ... does the moon really exist?

I see they've removed the video of him decking the guy who questioned the legitimacy.

Happy Birthday Buzz! May you make many more funny faces.
