To paraphrase Bette Davis: You should never say bad things about the dead, only good. Sheldon Adelson is dead. Good.

Over the last 15 - 20 years, Adelson spent an enormous amount of time and money attempting to thwart any and all two-state Isreali/Palestinian peace talks. His widow has made it clear that she intends to use his estate to continue meddling in the Middle East peace process. Adelson was 87.

I saw this, I understand he was also a big donor to the Republicans.

I’d never heard of him, so googled. Yes, good riddance. I have been in a nice building of his in Singapore, though, it turns out.
