He played The boss of John Lithgow. One of our favorite TV moments came from that. Shatner arrives at the airport to join Lithgow. Lithgow asks, "How was your flight?" "OK I guess except there was this monstrous guy out on the wing the whole time." To which Lithgow says, "Say that happened to me TOO!"
