Indeed it can't. It is a British film from the 50s.

I was probably being too obscure here, it was The Dambusters.

Let's try:

Been filmed several times, most recently a couple of years ago. Wilde died in 1900 so not set in WW2. :D

Aahh, errmm, OK.

So, not only did I have a lot of things I can do wrong, but the consequences, should I do them wrong, are gonna be immediately obvious to three billion people - and that's a worrisome thought!

Nope. I wouldn't burden this board with anything having to do with the worst science fiction movie ever. Do you know what Feinripp means? :D

ETA We are talking nonfiction here.

No, not this one (which the German Wikipedia article calls a Spielfilm).

Here's another one:

Person 1: I (or rather, ah) found out later on [...] that my heartbeat was a 144 at liftoff. John's was 70.
Person 2 (John): Yeah. Well, I told, I said mine was too old to go any faster. Yeah.

Not that film (as I said, non-fiction), but The Right Stuff is explicitly mentioned in the film several times.

It may have been here this was discussed, but how do you know they are cheerleaders if they are nude?

Thoroughly recommend it: In the Shadow of the Moon. Very moving, and sometimes I get a bit misty watching it. It is original footage, and the old astronauts talking about their voyages. No comment, no voice-over by an agitated moderator, no nothing (the only news person you see is Walter Cronkite). And the music is unbelievable. Reflect on the music when you see the slomo sequence of the Saturn liftoff. Woaaaw.

The beginning is awesome, too: Gene Cernan looking wryly at the camera , sying, "I called the Moon my home for three days of my life, and I'm here to tell you about it - that's science fiction!"

The whole affair is on YouTube, and you should definitely watch it. It was the second DVD I ever actually bought.

Here is a quote from the first one :-) : They think we're Arab. When did Persian become Arab?

If he posts the links, maybe we will be able to examine them closely and find some other clues to their identity.
