I doubt I am the first to think of it, but...

I entered "blog" into Google and in .05 seconds it returned over 2.1 BILLION hits. Having never noticed a Google score ove a billion before, I decided to see what returned the highest number.

"Web" - 5.77 billion
"An" - 7.3 billion
"And" - 12.76 billion
"To" - 13.87 billion

"S" - 7.6 billion
"E" - 8.96 billion
"A" - 17.02 billion

and while not a word:
"1" - 19 billion

So excluding numbers and accepting the letter A as king among single letters, any ideas on other words that might climb into the top?

Twat only scored 4.8M, but I just found out it also means The War On Terror. Never made the connection before, I must be a pussy.

Sex did OK at 600 and some million, but the drugs only got 252M and the Rock and Roll a mere 104M
