Stopped by the local gas station/store for my daily big 44oz. fountain drink - diet Pepsi as a rule - and the girl there greets me as always. SHe calls me "Hon" or sometimes "Darlin'." I suspect she calls most of the guys who go in there the same.

Tonight she say to me, "This one's on me, Hon."

I got girls buying me drinks!

SO whatever it is, I apparently still got it. If only I'd had it 40 years ago when I really needed it...

On the other hand, if could be she was busy cleaning the coffee machine and didn't want to be bothered running behind the counter.
