Lego my Bible

I don't remember if we have seen this before, but I still like it. From the brick testament (dot com)

Genesis 2:25
And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

Genesis 3:7
The eyes of both them were opened, and they knew that they were naked.

I seen some of it, but don't specifically remember if it was linked from here or not.

It's nifty though! :D

They are all blockheads.

I am impressed just by the huge extent of the web site.

Holy shit, I'm gonna burn in hell.

Arneb has pointed out to me that I am in violation of the web site's use policy. I did not seek permission to post the pictures.

I can no longer edit the posts to change them into links.

LANCE - would you delete this thread for me. ANyone who cares has already seen it and responded or not. Or at least change the photos into links.

Thanks

I linkified them for you, but I really wouldn't have worried about it. Websites almost always make that statement, but in reality, they like the additional exposure. Your posting of just a few of the pictures got them exposure from here that they wouldn't have normally received. What they frown on is when someone makes a virtual duplicate of their work, or claims it as their own.

Your use would qualify as "fair use" the same way you can post examples on WikiPedia.

Whoops, I didn't read this thread last night or I would have linked them.

I agree with Lance, though. I've made a bazillion comic book avatars for use on other boards, and all I ask of people who use them is that if they have a website to link back to me, and if they don't, then just don't say that they made it.

You made a reference to the website and didn't claim the legos as yours, I'd say you were in the clear.

Webmasters also have the option to block hotlinking of images. That's what I did with my smiley pages - you can only link to them from certain boards so go crazy and if the site isn't on the allowed list the image just won't show. Image

Ah, good to know that. You know, we've had cases here in Germany where innocent webmasters were sued for bazillions by snarling, blood-lusty lawyers for posting some copyrighted photos on their web site. That's what made me point Enzo to the "fair use" page.

As for burning in hell, Enzo, don't worry. I'll take an extra few strokes in the lava bath for you once I am down there.
