That’s the first match they’ve played since January (the Highland League is suspended due to covid) so I don’t think they’d have much impact.

Plus, old Highland League rivalries would never allow such an abomination from this County man.

Watching the Scotland match on Sky. Very annoying that we Scots have to watch our home football matches on a foreign broadcaster, with foreign commentary. Would Germans like their home internationals to be broadcast and commented on from the Netherlands? Having said that, I’m only watching for a change of scenery as I’ve not supported Scotland since 2014 - because I think a country that’s too fucking stupid to vote for it’s own existence doesn’t deserve a football team.

And yes, I have had more than the usual number of drinks for a Thursday.

I am completely sober and have no interest in the game. Not just for the reasons stated but as so many players have chosen to retire from international football to prolong their club careers. If the players can’t be arsed why should I.

Just to add, I’m watching the Scotland game on Sky TV. Meanwhile, STV (Scottish Television) is showing the England vs San Marino game. Yeah.

We might yet see some joy from the qualifiers, because we hit a really easy group, but I doubt the European Cup will be much cause for jubilation, us being in the same group as Portugal and France, and Germany still reeling from too much Jogi for too long...

Germany beat Iceland 3-0? So I should hope! (Hurriedly checks result to make sure England did actually beat San Marino. Good - to lose that game would have been too depressing!)

And Wales came out on top in the 6 Nations. (Well, it did say "sports teams".) Thank you, Scotland!
