My football hating parents live with us just now, so I'm making a point of watching as many games as I can on the big sitting room TV. Delighted to discover that Copa America is on now too, so after the last of tonight's Euro games there's the Brazil match at ten on iplayer.

ETA - and having gone to France 98 to support them, having been unable to get Scotland tickets, I think I can consider myself a slightly legitimate Brasil supporter.

In contrast to the weekend matches, here's to hoping your predictions pan out. If pressed, I'd probably support Sweden over Spain, Ibra's presence notwithstanding, but that is a very minor disagreement.

As fond as I am of Scandie countries, I used to live in Spain. I'll be slightly supporting them, but won't be rending my garments should the vikings triumph.

Czech Republic 2-0 up against Scotland. Hmmm, either this bodes well for England against Scotland - and I was very pleasantly surprised with yesterday's Croatia game - or badly for us against the Czechs. Let's hope the former.

It was indeed a shame that Netherlands beat Ukraine. Be nice to see Spain beat Sweden though. No great views on the Poland v Slovakia match.

I think Scotland played well on the whole, and deserved to at least draw maybe even win the game. Clear penalty not given at the end of the first half, and the Czech goalkeeper made some great saves. 2nd Czech goal was fantastic, although only made possible by suicidal positioning by our goalie. Need to be able to convert chances into goals.

With that and Slovakia beating Poland, I’m 2 swings and 2 misses for predictions today. Arriba España!
