Is never a good sign when the adverts tell you who the band is.

OMFSM I didn't realise Nazareth were still alive! Another Dunfermline band.

You interviewed Stuart Admason, he was in the Skids with Bill Simpson, Bill Simpson used to work at the desk I am presently sitting at. You are presently winning the six degree of separation from Heid game.

Woo Hoo! What's the prize if I win?

A very good friend of mine played bass in one of the versions of Humble Pie. He's got posters of them with Nazareth and all kinds of other bands that you'll look at and go, "Huh?" One guy, you know? And then the others sue!

That might be great fun!

Speaking of blasts from the past, Agent Orange were in town this past Friday - did you ever see them or were they an America only band?

Yeah, great fun until my knees or back give out from pogo-ing. :D

I know the name and I heard some of their stuff but didn't see them live.

Unfortunately I didn't make it, some family stuff came up but it seems to have been a great night. 3 of the 4 original Skids with Mike Baillie of Big Country in the Adamson role. Apparently the audience was predominantly slightly overwieght, balding men in their 40s and 50s . . .

Richard Jobson and Ian Rankin (both Fifers) did a show the other night which was essentially them talking about growing up and their shared background. Jobson sang an accoustic version of "Into the Valley" which was weird without the iconic riff intro.

Hmmm, too much culture, this needs more knob jokes.

Crud. Too bad you didn't make it.

As for the other ... how's 'bout this: BIG knobs! (Ade Edmunsen reference).
