No time to die

Saw it last night, an enjoyable film but I’m not sure how much sense it would make if you hadn’t seen the previous Craig films. A lot of references to previous films. It is long but it didn’t seem it.

Looking forward to it. By the time it shows up on TV I will have gotten up to speed on the others. :)

I’m in no hurry to see it, after the last one. I did vaguely like Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace but generally this incarnation of Bond isn’t boiling my kettle.

CR seemed good at the time but it hasn’t aged well. QoS is terrible, Skyfall is ok, SPECTRE is nonsense. This is better than most.

Of course, the opinion of our Visiting Professor of Bond Studies carries considerable weight. I’ll not head to the cinema, but will seek it out for the earliest domestic opportunity.

ETA - Yes, I realise quite liking QoS is a controversial opinion, but in my defence I’ve only seen it once and my memory may be hazy/rose-tinted. SPECTRE had too much Union Jackery nonsense for my taste.
