GSM Phones

Postby Мастер » Tue Sep 27, 2011 2:44 pm

Looking for a quad-band, cheap phone. Looks like a lot of them are dual sim these days, that's a nice bonus, but not necessary. Mainly looking for something cheap, that makes calls and sends texts, and does so in most of the world.

Any recommendations? I can pick one up here (phones are always sold unlocked here) or order one from Amazon for delivery to a US address (in which case the phone should be unlocked).

Many thanks in advance for you advice and wise counsel.

No. 3 on this list seems to be what you want: Cheap, and nothing but a telephone (no dual sim).

I am a bit partial towards Nokia, because I've always used them since my first mobile ten years ago. However, they start at € 155,--, and that's not what you want...

ETA no idea why the link doesn't show up as one, but copy and paste will do it for you....

That would certainly seem to fit all of the requirements!

I did find one Nokia model that was < S$100 and also fit the bill. Have to look up the model #

Many thanks.
