Apart from a few tricks (dot blindness, and blindness to anything after a "+" sign), there doesn't seem to be a way to have a gmail account with multiple @gmail.com addresses.
Is there? I can add another gmail address as an alias, but you still need to have the other account. By contrast, the Microsoft free email service seems to allow many aliases attached to a single account.

That's my impression, too. I have my smart phone attached to one of the account while the other is treated by the system as just another e-Mail adress. I tried the "add account" function, and it appears you can be recogized by the system as being one person with two accounts, but it seems impossible to collapse to e-mail adresses into one account.

I hate gmail.
