?1 how far from the Galatic Center are A. Sun B. Sirus
?2 How long does it take the Sun (OR) Sirius to orbit A: Years B: Hours
?3 Give both 1 AS 30,ooo Light Years and 2 as 24e7 Years find R of RT=D

the Astronomy Book numbers were 30,000 & 10,000 Light Years & ParSec's
which computed out {as} 6 e12 (Trillion) miles : 167411e12
One didget vs Six didgets {Well}? My math on the 26 (18/2=9) FUNney
:::::::::::
DISPite: My faulty Math ... 4Me it still doeth "NOT" compute ...
IF the Solar Orbital Velocity is in fact near .5e6 "MILES"/"HOUR"
THEN IF: the GalYear is approximatly 24e7 ((That I 'poise2B True ))
it JUST don't add up OR ELSE ... there are more ERRORS i don't see ..
????
ReWriting RT=D with D_r assumed NOW 6e12"Miles", D_d 12 & D_c=37.7e12
Can it then be said R=D/T ... R=37.7e12Mi/2.1e12Hr=17.952 Miles per H
NO! I never Rule out My KLA.Math as the problem HOWEVER:
D=37.7e12Mi / R=.5e6Mi/Hr = T=75.4e6Hr /24Hr/d =3.1416e6Days /365D/Y

Yeah, well, Sirius is only 8 or 9 lightyears away, so on a galactic scale, it's right next door. It wouldn't make much sense to say one or the other of us is 30,003 lightyears from the galactic core. :)

Yes, it should be 167.41e15 miles

.335e18 is the diameter, and that divided by 2 is the radius, .1675e18, which is the same thing as 1.675e17 or 167.5e15

But it should be 167.41 e15--One Hundred Seventy Million Billion miles. Or 170 quadrillion miles.

6e12 miles is one lightyear. If the Sun were going around a circle with radius one lightyear, at the speed it is going around the galactic center, it would take 8,000 years. But since the Sun is 30,000 times farther from the galactic center, it would take 30,000 times longer. 8,000 years times 30,000 is 240,000,000 years.
