ne cadant in obscurum.

Looking down straight into an eternal abyss only as large as our Solar system, across 506,054,473,000,000,000,000 km, with an intrument as large as the Earth, confirming what one human thought about 100 years ago, and put to paper with a pen.

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.

Indeed. one would be tempted to think, yeah, big deal, another orange donut in space. What gives? But it is not readily apparent how much therpry, modelling and observational skill wnt into this.
