Well, sorry about that - I truly thought it would be easy. The film in question was "Army Of Darkness," the third in the "Evil Dead" series from Sam Raimi, also known for Spiderman, etc.

Here we go again, and I hope this time I've made it simpler:

"Technology. That's always been your Achilles heel in this part of the world."
Is there such a thing?

Two more:

"Yeah, I can fly."

and:

XXX: "Oh, my God, you crazy son of a bitch! You owe me a plane, you know that, right?"
XXX: [chuckling] "Yeah, well, technically he hit me, so... "

Nah, I'm thinking it's Independance Day. First quote is Jeff Goldblume saying it to - his dad maybe? or maybe his boss. The "I can fly" is from Randy Quaid's character.

Nope. Newer (2008) and the first sequel came out this year.

Another:

"I love this suit!"

Sigh ... The star of the new Sherlock Holmes film plays the title role in this film, too.

First quote was frommain character, this one's from a side character to the other main character:

No, ma'am. We released ourselves on our own recognizance.

Some scenes are in a prison, some characters have spent time in them, but no, not "the longest yard"
Hint:
There's a baby involved.

Ok then:

"She walks in beauty, like the night... Only she's cycling and it's daytime"

It is from the 1940s.

I must stop trying obscure British balck and white films, it is "A matter of life and death",

Let's try:
"As opposed to the Louvre in Wisconsin?"
