We had a similiarly blatant violation of the states' responsibility to treat religions equally: In the city where our esteemed Chancelorette grew up, Templin in the beautiful Northeast of Brandenburg, the Uckermark, a Pastafarian wanted to advertise the timing of his religious sevices on public traffic signposts - the way the two large Christian denominations are wont to do.
He was denied a permit, and a court upheld the decision. Shockingly, they didn't believe in the seriousness of his religious beliefs.
