This the ninth World Cup.
In six cases, both the final and the bronze final have been north against south. The bronze final has at various times included Scotland, Wales, and Argentina, teams that never made the final. In 1995, the final was south against south (South Africa and New Zealand), and the bronze final was north against north (France and England). In 1999, the final was north against south (Australia and France), but the bronze final was south against south (South Africa and New Zealand). Finally, in 2015, all four teams were southern; New Zealand and Australia in the final, and South Africa and Argentina in the bronze final.
My prediction is, England win the final, New Zealand win the bronze final.
