Well, it's like this. I was out minding my own business Friday, walking my dog, when I hear this loud screech in an oak tree. I like birds, so I stopped and looked up, trying to see what made the noise. Out of the tree flies this yellow streak, which landed on my shoulder and wouldn't leave.

Fine pictures, and may I add, you and Himself are a handsome couple.

Why, thank you, KLA2. Yes, I assume she's a pet bird. I put up posters and checked the "lost pet" ads.

Wow. Still a good 100 to go until I even get to five llamas. Let's see if I can have my rank title changed until then... :(

I wonder why Haid does not use an avatar?

I think I have seen a picture of Haid somewhere wearing traditional Scottish raiment. Of course, that is before he got it caught in his lawn mower ... half kilt him. :glp-rimshot:

Hey, pmcolt, in case you have not been complimented lately on your amazing, creative avatars, they are. I think I said elsewhere, everyone does not get a round of applause every time they do or say something witty or creative ... but that does not mean it is not appreciated. 8)

Ran the thread again, Arneb. Impressive, but shouldn't you be working on a cure for the common hangnail, or something? :P

Yes, this forum is MINE, at the moment, isn't it  I am last to post, and Spartacus, everywhere...

As for the hangnail, don't get me started on the dim distant days of Dermatology...

It was me who coined the proverb that the orthopedician is the sole remaining natural enemy of humans.

You don't really want me to tell you, do you.
I did a four week's clerkship at a surgical orthopaedic department. My I knew my enemies afterward.

As long as it is just about fixing knees (like fixing plumbing), I'll accept that they serve a certain function not limited to putting evolutionary pressure on humans. Otherwise...
